The Carolina Outreach Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Chapel Hill, NC, whose mission is to

Work with families of children with behavioral, emotional, and mental health disabilities to provide them opportunities for recreation, vocational internships, and academic support.

The Carolina Outreach Foundation offers two integral support services: The Dream Project and The Youth Development Program, along with additional programs, such as the mentor-based Model Citizens Program and Hurdle Help, a crisis-prevention program conferring one-time grants.

2008 Benefit Concert Friday, October 17: 8:30pm

It’s time again for the Foundation to host another of its musically eclectic benefit concerts, this year held at the Broad Street Café, located at 1116 Broad Street, in Durham, near the NC High School of Math and Science.

Dinner is available throughout the evening, with Broad Street Café's expanded menu: wood-fired pizza, excellent burgers and salads, 15 beers on tap, and a full bar.

Performers begin at 9:00pm, with live music going till 1am. Bands are: The Water Callers, Adrian Duke Projek, and Potato Gun.

Magician Josh Lozoff will perform throughout the evening, offering up tableside magic during and between sets.

There will be a raffle between musical sets, with prizes that will include passes and discounts at local merchant’s stores, wineries, studios (yoga), and clinics (think massage!).
