The Carolina Outreach Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Chapel Hill, NC, whose mission is to
Work with families of children with behavioral, emotional, and mental health disabilities to provide them opportunities for recreation, vocational internships, and academic support.
The Carolina Outreach Foundation offers two integral support services: The Dream Project and The Youth Development Program, along with additional programs, such as the mentor-based Model Citizens Program and Hurdle Help, a crisis-prevention program conferring one-time grants.
Chief to the success of the Carolina Outreach Foundation is its affiliation with its sister organization, Carolina Outreach, LLC, which provides mental health services to individuals and families in Chatham, Durham, and Orange counties. As an active provider of person-centered and consumer-driven services, Carolina Outreach is one of the premier mental health provider in North Carolina.
The Carolina Outreach Foundation is able to leverage many of the contacts and resources of its sister organization, adding substance and breadth to its core programs.
